

Dr.
Natalie Nesterenko graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a doctor of chiropractic, and holds an Honors Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. Dr. Nesterenko has been a dancer and choreographer for ten years, a Toronto Argonaut Cheerleader for five seasons, and an Argonaut captain/choreographer for two years. Dr. Nesterenko also swam competitively for sixteen years, qualifying for the Canadian Olympic Trials at age 15. Dr. Nesterenko has studied muay thai and boxing for eight years and recently competed in an in-house MMA tournament. She defeated two opponents to win the female bantam weight title.
Dr. Nesterenko’s experiences as an amateur and professional athlete/performer have given her a unique understanding of repetitive overuse injury, mechanical pain, and preventive medicine. Thus, her patient’s include a number of amateur and professional dancers, athletes, and MMA fighters. Dr. Nesterenko utilizes diversified chiropractic technique to restore normal biomechanical function to the spine and extremities. She uses a wide range of methods to address neuromusculoskeletal complaints including: myofascial release technique, soft tissue therapy with Gua Sha tools, active rehabilitation, laser therapy, traction, gentle mobilization therapy, and high velocity, low amplitude (HVLA) thrusts. Dr. Nesterenko’s holistic and diverse treatment approach provides her patients with multiple treatment options beyond an HVLA chiropractic adjustment, and enables her to treat a wide variety of conditions including: chronic headaches, pain secondary to pregnancy, shoulder tendinopathies, patellar tracking dysfunction, and more. Dr. Nesterenko’s mission is to provide state-of-the-art chiropractic and rehabilitation techniques and scientifically based patient education to eliminate pain, correct its underlying cause, and prevent present and future health damage naturally.
